Account settings

Update your Pineway account details, protect your sign-in, and choose which activity emails you receive.

Open Settings to update the details clients see, protect your sign-in, and choose which activity emails reach you. Changes to your name, username, and profile photo also appear on your public Pineway page.

Change your name or username

Your name appears on your public page. Your username forms part of that page’s address, shown in Settings as pineway.io/@username.

  1. Open Settings, then select Account.
  2. Under Basic info, update Name or Username. You can change your username once every 14 days, so check it carefully before saving. A new username also changes the address of your public page; update any links you have already shared.
  3. Select Save changes.

Open your public page to confirm that the new name appears and, if you changed the username, that the page opens at its new address.

Your Email is shown under Basic info for reference, but you cannot edit it from this screen.

Change your profile photo

The profile photo set here appears on your public Pineway page. Have a PNG, JPG, or JPEG image ready before you start.

  1. Open Settings, select Account, then select Upload beside Profile photo.
  2. Choose the image you want to use. You can crop and resize it before saving, or select Use a new image if you chose the wrong file.
  3. Save the photo.

Your new image replaces the previous photo under Basic info and on your public page.

You can also update the photo from My page. See Edit your profile and social links for the other public profile details managed there.

Change your password

  1. Open Settings, select Account, then select Update password under Authentication.
  2. Enter the same value in New password and Confirm password. Your new password needs at least 8 characters, including 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number.
  3. Update your password.

The next time you sign in to Pineway, use the new password.

Set up two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) asks for a temporary security code as well as your password when you sign in. Before you start, install a time-based one-time-password (TOTP) authenticator such as Google Authenticator or 1Password.

  1. Open Settings, select Account, then select Enable beside Two-factor authentication.
  2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator. If you cannot scan it, enter the Setup Key in the authenticator instead.
  3. Enter the code from the authenticator in Confirmation code, then confirm the setup.
  4. Copy or download the backup codes and keep them somewhere secure. They let you sign in if you lose access to the authenticator, and you cannot return to Settings to view them after closing the setup.
  5. Close the setup after saving the codes.

The Two-factor authentication row now shows Active.

To turn 2FA off, select Remove 2FA beside Active and confirm the removal. The Enable button returns, and the backup codes from that setup no longer work.

Choose your email notifications

Email notifications tell you when a client buys a product or books an offer. You can control purchase and booking confirmations independently.

  1. Open Email Notification settings.
  2. Turn Purchase confirmation on to receive an email when someone buys your product, and turn Booking confirmation on to receive one when someone books a session with you. Turn either option off when you no longer want that email.
  3. Select Save changes.

The switches keep their saved positions when you return to Email Notification.

Booking cancellation or reschedule, Payout processed, and New email subscriber appear on this screen but are not available to configure yet.
