Payments & payouts
Understand how paid orders become earnings, connect a payout method, and withdraw money from Pineway.
When a client pays for an offer or product, Pineway records the order, calculates your earnings after payment processing fees, and sends the money to your payout method. Use Orders to check an individual payment and Income to review earnings across all offers and products.
Follow a payment from checkout to payout
A paid order moves through three parts of Pineway:
- Your client completes checkout. The order appears under Orders as Processing, Completed, or Failed.
- A Completed order contributes to Income. Pineway uses the amount left after payment processing fees and shows your earnings in US dollars.
- The money is either transferred automatically to a connected Stripe account or becomes available for you to withdraw.
Only Completed orders count as earnings. A Processing payment is still being finalized, while a Failed payment does not contribute to your income. See Review your orders for the full status details.
Read your Income summary
Open Income to see the money Pineway has recorded for you. The summary separates your earnings by where they are in the payout process.
| Amount | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Total revenue made | Your earnings from all completed paid orders, whether they are still in Pineway, being processed for payout, or already paid out. |
| Available to withdraw | Completed earnings that have not been included in a payout request or automatic transfer yet. |
| Currently processing | Earnings included in a withdrawal request that has not finished yet. |
The amount a client paid can differ from the amount added to Income because the Income summary uses your earnings after payment processing fees. If the client paid in another currency, Pineway converts the earnings to US dollars for this summary.
Choose how you receive payouts
Open payout settings, where you can connect Stripe or Paystack. If neither method works for your bank or country, you can request a manual bank transfer from Income instead.
Connect Stripe for automatic transfers
Stripe is the automatic option. Once the connection is fully configured, Pineway schedules each completed Stripe payment for transfer to your Stripe account after 24 hours. Stripe then handles the bank payout according to the schedule shown in your Stripe dashboard.
- Under Payout methods, select Connect Stripe.
- Choose your Country so Pineway can show the settlement currencies and bank-location requirements that apply to you. Stripe Connect is currently available for the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Romania, and Kenya.
- Proceed to Stripe and complete the requested account and bank details. The Stripe row shows Configure until Stripe has enabled payouts and transfers for the account.
Once setup is complete, the Stripe row shows Dashboard. Use it to open your Stripe account and check the transfer, payout schedule, or bank details without disconnecting it from Pineway.
Add Paystack for requested withdrawals
Paystack lets you request a withdrawal to a verified bank account. It is currently available in Nigerian Naira only. If your account pays out in another currency, request a manual bank transfer instead.
- Under Payout methods, select Add account on the Paystack row.
- Choose your Country and Bank Name, then enter the Account Number. Pineway checks the account with Paystack and fills in the verified Account Name, which helps prevent a payout going to the wrong account.
- Save the account. If you have more than one payout method, select Paystack payout options (⋮), then Set default so Income uses Paystack for your next withdrawal.
The Paystack row now shows Update and a Default badge when it is your default payout method. You can update the linked account later, but the current Payouts screen does not let you disable it.
Request a withdrawal
You can request a withdrawal once Available to withdraw reaches $10. The request includes all completed, unpaid orders available at that moment; you do not choose individual orders or enter a smaller amount.
Withdraw to Paystack
- Open Income and select Request withdrawal.
- Check the linked account and conversion estimate. The estimate shows how your US-dollar balance converts to the account’s payout currency; the final amount is confirmed when the withdrawal is processed.
- Request the withdrawal. Available to withdraw decreases and the amount moves to Currently processing, so you can confirm that the request now covers those earnings.
Request a manual bank transfer
Use a manual transfer when you have not connected a supported payout method. Pineway reviews and processes each request within 24 hours. How long the money then takes to appear depends on your bank.
- Open Income and select Request withdrawal.
- On your first request, enter the Bank Name, Account Name, Account Number, and Routing Number. Review the details carefully because Pineway uses them for the transfer and keeps a masked version for later requests.
- Confirm the bank details and withdrawal. The amount moves from Available to withdraw to Currently processing while Pineway handles the transfer.
On later requests, Pineway opens with the saved bank details ready to review. Select Edit before confirming if the account has changed.
When you cannot request a withdrawal
If Request withdrawal is unavailable, your Available to withdraw balance is below the $10 minimum. Completed sales accumulate there until the balance reaches the minimum.
If Pineway says some payments are still finalizing, the orders have completed but their fee and currency information is not ready for payout yet. Wait and try the withdrawal again later; the earnings remain in your Income summary.
For Paystack, the request also waits for a current conversion quote. Check that Paystack is connected and set as your default payout method, then reopen the withdrawal if the estimate could not load.
