Review your orders
Read the Pineway orders list, understand each order status, and know what customers receive after they buy.
Orders lists digital-product purchases and paid session bookings together, newest first. Use it to confirm a sale, check what someone bought, or investigate a missing download.
Read the list
Each row is one order, and it carries everything Pineway records about that purchase:
| Column | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Date | When the order was placed. |
| Item | The product or offer bought, named as it was at the time of purchase. |
| Type | Digital product or Session, which separates product sales from paid bookings. |
| Price | What the customer paid, in the currency they paid in, or Free. |
| Customer | The name they entered at checkout. |
| Status | Where the payment got to. |
Because the item name is stored at the moment of purchase, renaming or deleting a product later leaves your past orders reading exactly as they did when they were made.
Orders load ten at a time. The counter under the table shows how many of your orders you are looking at, and Load more brings in the next ten.
What each status means
- Completed — payment went through and the customer has their content. This is the only status that counts towards the Revenue figure on Products and towards Income.
- Processing — the payment is in flight and has not settled yet. Give it a little time and check again rather than treating it as a sale or as a failure.
- Failed — the payment did not complete. The customer received nothing, so they need to go through checkout again if they still want the product.
What a customer receives
When an order is completed, Pineway gives the customer:
- The confirmation screen, showing the confirmation message you wrote under More options, with a button to download the files or open the external link.
- The email receipt, using the title and body you wrote, with a link back to the product in their library so they can get to it again later. When the payment provider issued an invoice, it is attached to that email.
Pineway also emails you a notification of the sale.
If a customer says the download never arrived, check the order’s status first. A Processing or Failed order means the content has not been sent. For a Completed order, ask which address the customer entered at checkout and whether the receipt reached their spam folder.
